Help Central Ohio Children and Families Experiencing Homelessness Year-Round
Real Deal Santa Claus provides new toys, blankets, diapers, wipes, hygiene products, and other everyday essentials to children and families living in local shelters throughout Central Ohio.
And the need doesn’t end with the holidays.
Throughout the year, we work with local shelters and community partners to understand what families need and help provide those items when they’re needed most. Your donation can help provide an everyday necessity, a little extra comfort, or a new toy that gives a child the chance to simply be a kid.
Donate Items
Our needs change throughout the year and may include:
Toys & Gifts
New toys and gifts for birthdays, holidays, and other special moments.
Baby & Family Essentials
Diapers, wipes, and other frequently needed items for families with young children.
Hygiene Essentials
Toiletries and personal-care products that families use every day.
Blankets & Comfort Items
Items that can make life in a temporary living situation a little more comfortable.
Donating Toys
We welcome donations of new toys appropriate for children ages 4–12 and valued at approximately $20 each.
Keeping toys within a similar price range helps us provide children with gifts of comparable value.

Every Donation Makes a Difference
A toy can give a child something special to call their own. A package of diapers or wipes can meet an immediate need for a parent. A blanket or personal-care item can provide comfort during a difficult transition.
Whether you give during the holidays or in the middle of summer, you’re helping us support local children and families when they need it.
You can be a Real Deal Santa Claus, too.
